Divas Hit the road and Bo-Lin starts a life as a nomad.

In late January , tiny whisperers from Weibo informed me that our very own Bolin would be one of the participants in the Hit reality show "Divas Hit The Road Season 3" ( produced by Hunan Broadcasting Corp - HBS) . I was very skeptical of the rumor as he had just got off the back of the super popular reality hit show "We are in Love" ( by rival station Jiangsu TV) . The prospect of being able to see him on a new reality show just a year later seemed too good to be true. He was not the kind of person that would do similar projects so I was so excited when the news was confirmed to be true a few weeks back.
About Divas Hit the Road
For those that have not watched the show, the reality show involved ablend of celebrities of different age groups and characters. They will be given limited amount of cash and would have their original phone taken away from them and be sent on missions across few cities. The theme usually involves around how the celebrities cope with a travel life without their assistants and normal luxuries and live the life of a normal person.
In season 3 however , the cast will travel to places that focused on nature like South Africa , Brazil and Australia . Another interesting change was that the cast are now made up of all young people , the oldest being Tony Yang who is 34. Both Bolin and him will be the mature men in the team, a slight change from season 2 where the 'mature' team members were made up of women as 'big sisters' mentoring (or creating trouble) the young girls and boys.

A private trip to XinJiang
Before the trip , he made a private trip to Xinjiang and posted a cool picture of himself visiting Ghost Town , named after its horrendous high speed winds . I could only guess that it was in preparation for the new reality show. However , I couldn't confirm it conincidentally , one of his team members in Divas , Guli Nacha is also from Xinjiang!) . All I know from eagle eye fans , the media and kind Bo-Lin giving us sneak peeks in his Instagram that he did some shopping and ate the famous hotpot in Xinjiang.
From Xinjiang , he traveled to Beijing. I suspect that he made an early trip as the show usually starts to do some pre-trip shots where they film the cast getting ready for the trip.
AND.. we're OFF !!!
On the 23rd February , Bolin posted a picture of himself all packed up for the trip. HBS also released pictures of 2 opened luggages teasing viewers to guess whose luggage it belonged to . Many people believed it was his luggage as the color seemed similar although one of the luggage had a jeans bottom that looked like a skirt ( probably a decoy ? ) .
That afternoon , reporters started posting pictures of the Divas cast arriving at Beijing Airport . Bolin was on of the earliest to arrive. He was alone at the airport and was photographed pushing a cart of
2 large Burton luggage, an Under Armour duffel bag and a matching Burton carry on . He was dressed like he was going hiking, a heavy contrast to the other team members who dressed in branded clothes(apart from Tony Yang who appeared also in casual clothes and a simple Nike bag )
Bolin traveled alone away from other cast members who traveled in a group. Information from Weibo suggests that Bolin has a special arrangement for the trip . He would be starting the trip in exile as a Lone Ranger away from other cast members . Although I feel for him but I kind of understood the logic behind this arrangement . Bolin is well traveled ,master of all sorts and super adaptive to changing environments . I believe the producers decided to exile him to increase the level of difficulty of the trip and add more spice to the storyline.
Ola , Brazil !
He arrived in Brazil still looking fresh despite possible travel time of 22 hours . Reporters commented that he appeared in high spirits in contrast to other team members who looked exhausted.
I really can't wait for April when the show starts the air. In the meantime, we have no choice but to stay tuned into HBS Official Weibo to see if they allow us a little glimpse of our beloved idol is doing. I am pretty soon we're going to stay glued to HBS Station in April and the ratings will go through the roof !!
