出道十六年，渐褪了少年气的陈柏霖，正一步步用多元化的角色体验摘除与他形影不离的文艺标签。当下的他，最迷人之处恰恰也是属于这年华的不确定性，在暖男与轻熟雅皮间自由切换的他，未来的无限可能才更令人期待。

 

After debuting for 6 years, the youthfulness in Chen Bolin is slowly fading, and step by step he has used his multiple acting roles to make him inseparable from his label as an artistic person. At this moment, the most charming side of him is the uncertainty in his character, interchangeable between a warm man , a fresh yuppy  and a carefree person. He makes people look forward to his future which is full of unlimited possibilities. 

 

闷骚变色龙

The “Men Sao” [Please see note] Chameleon 

 

韩寒形容陈柏霖只一个词——闷骚。他确实让人无法一眼就看透，多变又固守，简单又丰厚，内敛又有张力，是经得起沉默的人。而无论时代有多喧嚣，身处的环境有多透明，他都能以很自在的姿态，在自己的小世界里做一个安静的美男子。

 

Han Han used one word to describe him - Men Sao. He is difficult to decipher from a glance, ever-changing and strong willed, simple but enriched, restrained but tense, and is able to withstand people who are silent. No matter how noisy it is or how transparent the environment is, he maintains his free attitude, quietly being a pretty boy in a small world.  

 

[Note : This word Men Sao 闷骚 is a complex word . I do not know the english equivalent to this word. It refers to people who look plain, cold or even dull outside, but inside they are volatile, charismatic, hot and sexy. It may also be usd to describe a person's duplicitous personality] 

 

陈柏霖身上还有一种很特别的气质，总是能与环境和谐地融为一体，比如此刻在塞纳河边晨跑的他，仿佛是跑过了那条街，在转角的店里喝杯咖啡，吃一块牛角面包，就回家换身衣服去上班的巴黎“土著”。在什么样的场景里就成为什么样的人，这样的特质对应着他的演员身份，便成了不得了的天赋。

Chen Bolin has a special aura in him, it almost feel like he is harmonious and integrated into the environment. For example, at this moment, he is doing morning run beside the Seine River morning, running through the streets and turning into the store at a corner to have a cup of coffee and a croissant before heading back home to Paris to change into work clothes, almost like a native Parisian. When he is in a particular environment , he would adapt himself. This trait corresponds to his actor status, and has became his talent. 

 

所以，这个在《蓝色大门》里骑着自行车的台湾男生，出演《观音山》、《后会无期》里的内地小镇青年，一样让人有认同感；韩国BM+娱乐公司签下他的经纪约，也是看中了他与那个国度相融合的气场。

 

Therefore, whether in “Blue Gate crossing” riding a bike through Taiwan or a Mainland China Youth in Buddha Mountain and The Continent, he gives out a familiarity to audiences. That is why the Korean BM+ Entertainment Group has signed him as they think he will be able to integrate into the international arena quite easily. 

 

但这并不仅仅是凭着与生俱来的天赋，陈柏霖是有意识地要把自己修炼成一条变色龙，因为从20岁起，他就给自己设定了“绝不做花瓶”的目标，所以尽管外表看是漫不经心、吊儿郎当的一个人，私底下却下足了苦功。为了演一个患有自闭症的角色，他把自己关在家中“与世隔绝”了半个月；在接了《坏蛋必须死》之后刻苦学习韩语，只用几周时间就可以跟韩国人正常交流。

 

However, he was not born with an inborn talent. He has consciously practiced hard to become a chameleon. That’s because when he was 20, he made a conscious decision not to become a “Vase”. So although he appears casual, but privately, he worked very hard. In order to play an autistic person, he put himself in isolation at home for half a month; in "Bad guys must die" he put a lot of effort to study Korean and in just a few weeks , he was able to converse with a Korean in their native language. 

 

 

演员都喜欢说做演员最过瘾的事，是用角色来体验不同的人生，但更多说这样话的人，到了片场才会看剧本，三两个月就完成一个角色，陈柏霖不一样，他是真正的体验派，每一个角色，都是用自己的人生在体验，因为真实所以美丽。

 

Actors like to say that the most fun thing about being an actor is to experience different roles in life, but even so, they will only look at the script when they arrive at the studio and then take three months to complete a role. Chen Bolin is different. He belongs to the group that uses his real experience. For every role, he injects an actual experience to bring the character to reality. Because it is real, it becomes beautiful. 

 

冒险才有趣

在17岁还没来得及筹划未来的时候，陈柏霖就被命运选去做了演员，之后他一直是用自己的方式在过程中发掘乐趣，并越来越享受其中。“在生活中，每一个人都会隐藏很多事情，而做演员最有趣的地方是，它给了你一个出口，去释放你长久以来没有释放的情绪。”

 

When he was 17 and still did not had the time to plan for the future, Chen Bo Lin was fated to be an actor. After that, he has always used his own way to discover fun throughout the process , making it more and more enjoyable over time. "In life, everyone hides a lot of things, and the most interesting thing about being an actor is that it gives you an outlet to release the emotions that you have not released for a long time.

 

但近几年来，他接片的标准越来越捉摸不定，会顶着一张文艺脸去演喜剧片，让很多人觉得他是在刻意转型，但其实在陈柏霖心里，自己从来就没有过一个标准的型。“我拍戏不是为了塑造形象，塑造形象应该是私底下知道自己要呈现什么样子，演戏对我来说是一连串的惊喜跟冒险，我不喜欢重复，更愿意尝试没有尝试过的事情，如果一直做同样的事情，就会觉得无趣。我不会考虑接戏要什么标准，这个不够好或者小众，而是这个东西有趣，并且能在我生命里留下些什么。每一个角色留在电影里面，我都希望它是以不一样的轮廓、不一样的表演、不一样的外在、不一样的存在留在底片里面。”

 

In recent years, the  standards he used to accept roles are getting more and more uncertain. He would use an artistic face to act comedy. Many people thinks his transition is a deliberate attempt to change himself. However, in his heart, he has never set standards for himself. “I act not because I want to shape an image. In the creation of an image, someone should privately know what they want to show. Acting for me is a series of surprises and adventure, I do not like to repeat myself, I want to explore something that I have not tried. If you have to do the same thing over and over again, it will feel boring. I will not set standards to choose a film like this is not good enough or it is a minor role, but whether it is interesting and what will be left behind in my life. In every role that is left in the flim, I hope it is not the same contours, not the same performance, not the same physical appearance, uniquely captured in the film roll. 

 

除了做演员，六年前陈柏霖也成立了自己的电影公司“天下无敌”，投资的电影包括自己主演的《重返20岁》，而这间公司略显“中二”的名字确实也是源自于他中学时代的口头禅，公司的合伙人也都是他的高中同学兼死党。相比于做老板，他更喜欢当Leader，可以和好朋友们一起目标一致地做一件事，“我们不是只看数字，最主要的是大家都做得开心。现在做的事情，在未来回想起来时，会成为一个美好的回忆。”

 

In addition to his role as an actor Chen Bo Lin also set up his own film company “Invincible" six years ago. “Back to 20” was this company’s first investment and he also starred in it. The company’s name is also derived from In his high school mantra and his partners are also his high school classmates and buddies. Compared to being boss, he likes to be a Leader more, so that he can achieve the same goals with his friends."We do not just look at the numbers, the most important thing is that we are all having fun now. In the future, when we look back , it will become a good memory.

 

我行我素活自己

不久前，陈柏霖在真人秀《我们相爱吧》里，与宋智孝谈了一场似真似假的“恋爱”，其中为“女朋友”弹吉他、喂糖饼、做料理的“粉红画面”，也让观众见识到了生活中撩妹技能满分的他。而在此之前，因为一部《我可能不会爱你》，他的暖男形象就已深入人心，但他自己却一再强调，在爱情上，他可不是李大仁。“李大仁太闷了，喜欢一个女生十多年都不说，我绝对不会这样。”喜欢就会积极去追求，哪怕被拒绝也不会轻易放弃，这才是现实中的陈柏霖。

 

Not long ago, Chen Bo Lin acted in the reality show "We are in love “ with Song Ji Hyo , he had a ambiguous real and fake relationship.  He played guitar for his girlfriend, fed her dessert, painting a picture that may make you blush. The audience was able to fully immerse into his skills of courting a girl. Prior to this, because of the hit show “In Time with you", his warm man image is now deeply rooted among audiences, but he has repeatedly stressed that in love, he is not Li Daren. "Li Daren is too boring, he liked a girl for more than 10 years but did not express himself. I will not be like that." He would proactively pursue the girl he likes . Even if he is rejected, he will not give up. This is the real Chen Bolin.

 

在十九岁出版的写真书《舞川拉面》里，他就曾经十分坦率地讲过自己喜欢的女生类型一定要是性感美妞。“女人的性感要比例好，要看眼神，最好像巴西名模那种腰细臀翘。”而今十几年过去，他的审美从没有改变过，还是一样的标准，附加条件是，“有一天，我的头发都白了，可是她还没有白。”

 

When he was 19, he published an autobiography called “Chuan La Ramen”. Within the book, he talked about his ideal girl as being someone who is sexy. “To be sexy, a woman must have good proportions. Most important is her gaze. Like Brazilian models with their waist and hips.” 10 years later, his tastes have not changed and he added a new standard “One day, my hair will turn white, but not hers..” 

 

是的，这个喜欢村上春树、加缪的文艺男身体里，住着一个“肉食男”的灵魂，也许不符合你的想象，但陈柏霖从不避讳，几任野性难驯的前女友他也都大方公开。“一些人会提醒我说这样不避嫌会影响事业，可是我觉得没必要躲躲藏藏，做人就是要这样，太在乎别人的意见，就不是在活自己。没有人会为你活得好或不好而负责，只有你自己，如果你太为别人活，又没有达到自己想要的生活，那你要怪的人是谁呢？怪大家口中的你还是怪自己的选择？所以到最后其实自己的感受才是真的，不用在乎别人说什么，或者怎么理解你。”

 

Yes, this guy who likes Murakami Haruki and Camus's literature, still has a “Typical Meat Man”  in his soul. He may not measure up to your imagination, but Chen Bo Lin does not treat anything with a taboo. Even when he had former girlfriends who are quite will in nature, he generously exposed his relationship. "Some people will remind me to avoid this as it will affect my path, but I do not think there is a need to hide, you shouldn't do that as a man. If you care too much about other people's views, you will not live your life.. No one will take responsibility of whether you are living your life good or not good.If you live too much for others, and did not achieve your desired life, then who do you have to blame. Do you blame the person who others say about, or blame your own choices. So in fact, in the end, what you really feel is reality. So in Do not care  about what people say or how they understand you. 

 

在他看来，无论工作还是感情，所有的事都在于个人的选择，最重要还是缘分，强求来的东西到最后自己也会瓦解，“可是如果你随缘，然后自在地去决定任何事情的话，那个东西才会坚不可摧。也许听起来很宿命，但其实就是如此，就像爬山，不用看山顶，看着自己的脚，走着走着也就到了。”

 

In his view, regardless of whether it is his career or love life, everything is about your personal choices, the most important thing is fate, if something is forced, sooner or later it will come to an end on its own and it will collapse, "But if you face things naturally, and then freely to decide on things, those things will be indestructible. mu：这一次的巴黎之行与以往有什么不同的感受吗？

mu : What is the difference between your trip to Paris now and your trip here before? 

陈柏霖：我上一次来巴黎是六年前，但这次来并没有发觉什么太大的变化，欧洲城市大都如此。

CBL : The last time I came to Paris was 6 years ago. I do not see any significant changes. European cities are like this. 

 

mu：很多人都觉得你的时尚感很强，这是如何做到的？你觉得最适合自己的着装风格是什么？

陈柏霖：首先谢谢大家的肯定，我觉得Bolin Style比较适合我吧，穿出适合自己的风格，就是在细节中加入巧思，并考虑到很多方面，比如季节、天气、事件，去做一些微调，当然舒适感是我最重视的。

mu :  Many people feel that your fashion sense is strong, how do you do it? What style do you think best suits you? 

CBL : First of all thank you for the affirmation. I think Bolin Style best suits me. Creating your own style is to add ingenuity in the details, and take into account many aspects, such as the season, weather, events and then do some fine-tuning, of course, being comfortable is the most important.

 

mu：你的时尚Icon是谁？喜欢哪几位设计师？

陈柏霖：对我来说没有一个时尚Icon，或者说只要是好的事物我都会特别关注，对物不对人。Ann Demeulemeester今年的设计我非常喜欢，Rick Owens也不错。

mu : Who is your fashion Icon? Who are the designers that you like?

CBL : I do not have a fashion Icon. As long as something is good, I will pay special attention to it. It’s about the object, not people. I like Ann Demeulemeester’s design this year. Rick Owens is also good.

 

mu：从恋物上来讲，你最喜欢的物件是什么？

陈柏霖：一定要选一个的话，是鞋子。

mu : What’s your fetish ? 

CBL : If I must choose, its shoes. 

 

mu：对你而言，最珍贵的藏品是？

陈柏霖：回忆。

mu :To  you, what is the most precious collection? 

CBL : Memories 

 

mu：在朋友圈里，你是一个什么样的存在？

陈柏霖：I’m an observer.

mu : To your friends, what’s your identity? 

CBL : I’m an observer.

 

mu：除了表演以外，你还有什么技能是特别拿得出手的？

陈柏霖：大概是料理。

mu : Besides acting, what other skills are you good at? 

CBL : most probably, cooking

 

 

mu：你也算“女神收割机”了，分别评价一下你合作过的诸多女神，桂纶镁、刘亦菲、范冰冰、陈意涵、宋智孝、河智苑？

陈柏霖：说评价太严重，每个人都有自己的特色以及性格，每一个交流对我来说都是挑战，而这些挑战的过程都是美好的。

mu : You are considered “Harvesters of Goddess”. Can you evaluate Gui Lun Mei, Liu Yifei, Fan Bingbing, Chen Yihan, Song Ji Hyo? 

CBL : Calling it  evaluation is too serious, everyone has their own characteristics and personality, every exchange is a challenge for me, and out of these challenges, were beautiful outcomes. 

 

mu：都说你跟韩国女星很有缘，比较一下韩国女孩与中国女孩的不同之处，各自最能打动你的点是什么？

陈柏霖：使用的语言不同（笑）。其实女孩子不同国籍，内里有很大一部分都是相通的，诚恳与友善是我最重视的。

mu : Seems you have a lot of fate with Korean actresses. If you could compare Korean girls and Chinese girls, what’s the difference between them and what were the things that most impressed you? 

CBL : The language used is different (laughs). In fact, with girls of different nationalities, there is still a large part that is interlinked. Being sincere and friendly is most important.

 

 

mu：除了演戏和吃辣，还有什么事能让你泪流满面？

陈柏霖：吃辣反而不会让我泪流满面（笑），看到令人难过的事物，例如营养不良的小孩、被剥皮的小动物等等比较能够催泪。

mu : Besides acting and spicy food, what else can make you burst into tears?

CBL : Eating spicy food will not let me burst into tears (laughs). Seeing sad images  such as malnourished children, skinned small animals makes me tear more. 

 

mu：最近一次与家人朋友聊得最深入的话题是什么？

陈柏霖：宇宙观、外星人的存在与否、人类存在的意义等等，我对这些题材很有兴趣，平常也会关注这些资讯。

mu : What was the most in depth topic in your most recent conversation with family and friends? 

CBL : Cosmology, the existence of aliens, the meaning of human existence, etc., I am very interested in these subjects, usually concerned about this information.

 

mu：过去的那么多角色里，你个人最偏爱的是？

陈柏霖：其实每个角色对我来说都是不同的体验，都很爱，没有偏爱。

mu : In the past so many roles, your personal favorite is?

CBL : In fact, each role for me is a different experience, I do not have a preference. 

 

mu：对30岁后的演艺事业有什么样的想法？

陈柏霖：年龄对我来说并不具有什么指标性的意义，时间都是相对的，是否能活得开心最重要。

mu : Any new thoughts of your acting career after the age of 30?

CBL : Age does not have any significance to me. Time is relative, most importantly is whether you can live happily.
